Download the Ubero Agent v0.7To downlaod and install Ubero, it is important you follow these instructions in the proper order.
Step 1 - Become a memberTo run the Ubero Agent and receive credit for your work you need to be a registered member. Register Now!
Step 2 - Download and Install JavaYou must have Java 1.2.2 or higher installed to run Ubero. If you do not have the Java Run-time Environment (JRE) nor the Java Developer's Kit (JDK) installed you must install it before running Ubero. You can download it from the download chart below in the "Get Java" column corresponding to your operating system. If you use Windows 95/98/Me we recommend you reboot your machine after you've installed Java and before you install Ubero. The newer virtual machine may not yet be registered as the default Java virtual machine until you reboot. Otherwise, it will default to the Microsoft virtual machine which is outdated and doesn't support some of the feautres Ubero requires. See the related support topic. If you use Mac OS X it already comes with Java 1.3 installed so you probably don't need to install Java unless you have removed it. If you use Unix, Ubero can be run in text-only mode but the first time it is run and when you register the agent it requires XWindows to be running. Once it's registered, though, you can run it in text-only mode.
Step 3 - Download and Install UberoOnce you have Java installed, download Ubero and follow the install insrtuctions in the "Instructions" column. If you've tried really hard at following the instructions for you particular OS and you still can't get it to work download and install Java for your platform and the "Other Platforms" option of Ubero. It requires a little more work but is the most platform-independent way of installing Ubero. If you have problems downloading or installing the software contact support.
Release Notes/SupportYou can read the release notes to learn what's new in this version of the agent.See the support section of our site for more details on these issues and others as they arise.
